Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery].
God commands His people to go out in the world and share the good news, occupy the land and to live out their faith, influencing the world around them as they do so.

2 Timothy 3: 16-17
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
What do you think when you hear "education"? Do you think of children in schools? Or university programs?
On this mountain, Christians are to have influence over future (and current) generations. To uphold Godly principles, and be active participants. Over the years, this mountain has been gradually abandoned by God's people, the result being decay and corruption.
God's people can take it back!
Being Salt means getting involved! Go to school board meetings, talk to teachers, challenge what's being taught in schools. By being salt and light, you can have a real impact on this mountain!
Did you know Canada and America were founded on Judeo-Christain values?
If you look at the lyrics of the Canadian national anthem, O Canada, especially the French version, Ô Canada, it is plainly evident that Canada was founded on Christain values. But where are those values today?
The pillars of Judeo-Christian culture have been attacked and replaced by secular religion. The more we accept a secular take over and push God into a box and away from government, the less authority we give God to govern us. God has all authority to govern us should he choose, but He gives us choice and we must allow Him to work through us.
Being Salt on the Mountain of Government includes running for office, supporting righteous leaders, volunteering to help during elections, helping organizations who are standing for Godly principles, signing petitions, and more.

ISAIAH 9:6-7
“For unto us a Child is born,

And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace

Matthew 5: 16
16Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Have you noticed the continual attempts at destroying the family unit?
The Mountain of Family encompasses many areas, including the family unit itself. For most people, this is their first calling.) Healthcare, psychology, coaching, caring for the poor and orphans are further callings.
The Family mountain has been under relentless attack because the devil seeks to corrupt our view of God as a Good Father and to disrupt our understanding of being ones adopted into God's family.
God desires for us to see him as Abba, as a father, and have a relationship with Him like a father would have with a child. For us to be in relationship with and connected to Him. He also desires for us to have an earthly family, to have people we can trust and rely on. But the message we receive is far too often one of God rejecting His people, of us needing to be good enough for God rather than Jesus having paid the ultimate price in our place so that we might be near God.
Being Salt on the Mountain of Family can include bringing back prayer and Bible reading at your dinner table, or stepping into areas like healthcare where you can covertly and overtly minister to the poor and needy.
Creativity and imagination are part of free will and are part of God's purposeful design for His people!
God gave humans the capacity for pleasure, for positive emotions, such as being happy and joyful, feeling content and satisfied, having fun. One way we can experience joy is in exercising creativity and imagination whether by creating or taking part in someone else's creativity (ie, having fun!).
Arts and entertainment are meant to demonstrate God's goodness, but have you noticed an extreme lack of positive messages of God and faith in this industry? By painting religion as a whole and Christainity specifically as wrong, crazy - even evil - arts and entertainment are being (successfully) used to drive people further from God, further from His truth and relationship with Him. As Christainity is painted to look like a cult, like the devil rather than what is truly evil in this world, people are held far from God, far from his purpose.
Being Salt on the Mountain of Arts & Entertainment involves boldness to create content that may be unpopular to the general public - but watch as Holy Spirit blows on works and people become attracted to God's goodness!
Ephesians 5: 17-21
“Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God."

Luke 11: 33-36
"No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light. The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light."
Mainstream media is today's version of the prophets of Baal. Media is generally "the News"in all forms.
The Mountain of Media requires Salt and Light - Bold, Truthful voices are required. The devil has successfully co-opted most media, but that can change!
Being Salt includes stepping into working with media companies, entrepreneurial start-ups in journalism, creating content that is informative and honest. If that's not your calling, then search out alternative narratives to the mainstream and support those works!
Kingdom Economy Focuses on Finance and Business to Help People and To Spread God's Goodness.
The opposite to that is Mammon - which uses resources only for profit.
Being Salt on the Mountain of Economy includes working on, opening up, or influencing businesses to focus on people and God's kingdom.
